This term we are learning about Marine Habitat. I have been learning about loggerhead sea turtles.Here are three cool facts about loggerhead sea turtle:
- Loggerhead sea turtles have strong jaws because they use those jaws to crush had food.
- Loggerhead sea turtles are named after their long head.
- Nearly all the loggerhead sea turtles live in the ocean.

ReplyDeleteI didn't even know there were sea turtles called loggerhead turtles!. I see that you have noted they have strong jaws for crushing their food. What kind of food do they eat that requires them to have strong jaws?!

ReplyDeleteThat is a really good question they use those strong jaws to crush food for example clams,sea urchins,horseshoe crabs, clams, and mussels. Did you know that loggerhead sea turtles are named for their long head.
